Invitation for cooperation from Kyrgyz Universities

Azerbaijan has participated in the Tempus programme since 1995. The universities in Azerbaijan submit and participate in more than 50 Tempus project proposals each year.

25 universities (public and private) are already involved in Tempus projects in different priority areas. Several universities from province have already benefited from the Tempus projects in areas such as language studies, engineering and rural subjects. In total a total of 27 Tempus Projects targeting Azerbaijan have been financed. At present preference is given to projects involving universities from different regions of Azerbaijan, also to the national projects that especially focus on Structural Measures. The curriculum development priority areas covered have been: teacher training and education science, engineering (in particular, oil and gas), the environmental sciences, economics, telecommunications, information technology, and EU studies etc.

University management projects have focused on quality assurance, self-evaluation systems, and the establishment of international relations offices. In the framework of institution building, training has been provided in the field of public administration management. You may get acquainted with National Priorities of Azerbaijan both for Joint Projects and Structural Measures through regularly annual calls of proposals.

The website has been funded within the framework of the European Union Tempus programme which is funded by Directorate General for Development and Co-operation – EuropeAid and the Directorate General for Enlargement.
